COMING HOME TO A TRADITIONAL PARKROYAL CHRISTMASFESTIVE FEASTING TO SHOWCASE UNIQUE TURKEY FLAVOURS
FESTIVE DINING While both festive menus at Parkroyal on Beach Road’s Plaza Brasserie and Parkroyal on Kitchener Road’s Spice Brasserie will feature the traditional roast turkey, the hotels culinary teams have created a whole new ‘take on the turkey’, each with its own special appeal. The Sichuan Turkey and Ginseng Turkey were created by the Parkroyal on Beach Road’s new executive chef, Jackson Goh. The culinary team at Parkroyal on Kitchener Road, led by Executive Chef, Ho Kok Choi, created the Eurasian Turkey and Peranakan Turkey. The turkeys will take pride of place at the Christmas buffet, carved to order at special carving stations. The Christmas buffet at both Parkroyal on Beach Road and Parkroyal on Kitchener Road will be priced at $30+++ for lunch and at $38+++ for dinner from December 15 – December 31 (excluding Christmas and New Year’s Eves). On Christmas and New Year’s Eves, dinner will be priced at $62+++ including a free flow of soft drinks, one glass of wine or beer and party favours. CHRISTMAS GOODIES TO TAKE HOME All five Turkey flavours – Traditional Turkey, Sichuan Turkey, Ginseng Turkey, Eurasian Turkey and Peranakan Turkey – will be available for takeaway, along with Honey Baked Ham. The takeaway turkeys will be available at both Parkroyal on Beach Road and Parkroyal on Kitchener Road from December 15 – December 31. The 4kg turkeys are priced at $78+++ each, and the Honey Baked Ham is priced at $48 per 1.5kg. Orders for both items should be placed three days in advance and collected from the respective hotels. Another unique take on Christmas at Parkroyal will be the entertainment. Carolling in the lobby of both hotels on December 23 and 24 will be performed by the JazzKids, a group of talented young performers from all walks of life in Singapore. Sponsored by Parkroyal as part of the company’s campaign to nurture young people in the performing arts, the JazzKids will feature songs from their new Christmas CD, which will be launched on November 21, 2007 at the UOB Plaza atrium during lunchtime. NEW YEAR’S COUNTDOWN With a new band and newly launched concept, Parkroyal on Beach Road’s Club 5, will provide the ideal venue for the countdown to the New Year. Decorated in a riot of black and silver for the celebrations, New Year’s Eve patrons will be ‘armed’ with their own personal confetti gun and party favours. Over at Chances Lounge at Parkroyal on Kitchener Road, guests can take part in a traditional countdown and dance to the pulsating rhythm of the resident band.
