PARKROYAL APPOINTS NEW VICE PRESIDENT, REGIONAL GENERAL MANAGER

Singapore, July 11, 2008:  Parkroyal Hotels & Resorts is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Paul Rene Lee as Vice President, Regional General Manager for Asia Pacific with effect from 1 July 2008.

Mr Lee will be based at Parkroyal’s Corporate Office in Singapore. Reporting directly to President and CEO of UOL Group Ltd, Mr Lee will oversee hotel operations of the Parkroyal Group including new hotel openings in support of the Group’s expansion plans.

With 23 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Mr Lee has previously held senior management positions at both hotel and corporate levels in Thailand, Singapore, the Philippines, Hong Kong and Macau.

Mr Lee holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Hotel & Restaurant Administration (Honours) and brings with him a strong background in hotel operations, pre-opening and opening of hotels and project management.
