Kid-friendly Cafes

Melbourne is a mecca for cafe culture and it also caters for kids with kid-friendly cafe options all over the place.

A few of our haunts include Jerry's Milk Bar in Elwood with its covered and heated outdoor courtyard, kids play area and great food. Serving up wholesome food, service with a smile and a very relaxed atmosphere.

A City Farm

A really great half day adventure, fresh air, grassy paddocks and only minutes from the city. The Collingwood Children's Farm is a little slice of country life right in the heart of Melbourne, only 4 kilometres from the CBD. It's a magical adventure for city kids to delight in farm life, hang out with the ducks, pat the goats, bottle feed the baby lambs and milk the cows.

It doesn't matter if you're car-less in and around the City as public transport is quite literally at your feet. A day trip on the tram to some of Melbourne's favourite attractions is a great way to keep the kids entertained. With tram routes running past so many hot-spots, as well as some of our best local shopping and restaurant strips, the tram is a cheap and fun way for the family to make the most of the holidays or weekends.
