In conjunction with the month of Ramadhan, Parkroyal Kuala Lumpur in collaboration with Nona TV3 hosted a ‘Ramadhan’ feast for 80 kids from the Selangor and Federal Territory Association for Retarded Children.

Majlis Menyambut Ramadhan by Parkroyal Kuala Lumpur and Nona TV3 was graced by Yang Mulia Tengku Datin Marsilla Tengku Abdullah as the Guest of Honour. Also present were Yang Berbahagia Datin Seri Fauziah Idris, the President of the Selangor and Federal Territory Association for Retarded Children, Puan Badariah Jalil, General Manager of Corporation Communication from Media Prima.

Parkroyal Kuala Lumpur was represented by Mr Terry Butt-Gow (Executive Assistant Manager), Ms Veronica See (Area Director of Sales and Marketing), Encik Rahim Musa (Director of Food and Beverage) and Ms Wendy Yap (Marketing Communications Manager).

The children were treated to a grand feast of Ramadhan dishes and goodies including clown appearance. In addition, they were entertained with local celebrities’ performances such as Dina, Farah Asyikin, Fazli Zainal and many other TV3 personalities. The children were also given ‘Duit Raya’ green packets and goodies by Yang Mulia Tengku Datin Marsilla Tengku Abdullah, Encik Rahim Musa and Ms Wendy Yap on behalf of Parkroyal Kuala Lumpur and Puan Badariah Jalil on behalf of TV3.

Organizing community events are part of the hotel’s corporate social responsibility which has always been an important mission and core value of the Parkroyal group of hotels. Each festive season, Parkroyal Kuala Lumpur will take the opportunity to organize festive gatherings for the under privilege children. The event was joined by 50 staffs at Parkroyal Kuala Lumpur to ensure that the children are well taken care of and have an enjoyable time.
