Malaysia - At the newly renovated Parkroyal Penang you can now make a festive wish and contribute towards a home for underprivileged children - the Penang Children's Protection Society - from 7th December 2004 until 31st December 2004. The Resort has selected the Penang Children's Protection Society as the beneficiary for its Christmas Pledge Project 2004 to raise funds for the home this festive season. The campaign was officially launched at the Resort's Lobby area by YB Mr Teng Chang Yeow, Penang State Executive Councillor, together with hotel General Manager Mark Losi. 

The Resort's General Manager Mark Losi said that it is important to help the people in need of support and funds, especially the underprivileged.

'We at the Parkroyal care for the community and will do our best to help raise funds for the children of the home and bring festive cheer to the home,' Losi added. 'We continuously run caring projects to help those seeking support.'

Present at the launch were the Resort's Food & Beverage Manager Ivan Chin, Front Office Manager Pierre Boudville, Public Relations Manager Karen Chee and regular and long-staying hotel guests.
