, 29 June, 2009 - Celebrate the Nation's birthday with a galore of local delights at Spice Brasserie! From all time favourites like the Singapore Laksa and Popiah, to Black Pepper Crab and Fried Carrot Cake, this National Day Buffet will bring together the best of , just for you. Priced at $35++ for adults and $20++ for children, this buffet is available during the National Day weekend, 8 - 10 August 2009 for both lunch and dinner. What's more, in line with our Nation's birthday, we are treating all those who are aged 44 (as of year 2009) and born in the month of August, to a free buffet meal from 8 - 10 August! Simply come along with one other full-paying adult to enjoy this treat!
This National Day, the team of Chefs at Spice Brasserie has put together a glorious selection of local food that is guaranteed to please even the most particular taste bud. Catch our Chefs in action at the 'Live Kitchen', where they cook up a storm right before your eyes. Watch them as they stir fry that sensational Sambal Kang Kong, serve up a savoury plate of Oyster Omelette, put together a piping hot bowl of Singapore Laksa or even flip a Prata in front of you.
For those who prefer getting down to action, they can try their hands at making their own Rojak or Popiah with the specially prepared ingredients, all laid out for guests' convenience.
To add to the atmosphere of a local celebration, also available on the line are the succulent Oatmeal Prawns that are covered with a layer of crisp oatmeal bits which add that extra crunch, Sambal Crayfish that is cooked to perfection and accompanied with a generous amount of sambal and Stir-Fried Flower Clams for the seafood lovers.
To top if all off, guests can end their meal with a spread of ambrosial desserts. Be it a sweet treat like the Pulut Hitam or the Ondeh Ondeh, Thai desserts such as the Mango Sticky Rice or Caramelised Steamed Tapioca with Coconut Cream, or even a simple dessert like Cheng Teng or Chendol, these desserts will leave you craving for more.
