The Assistant Revenue Manager supports all revenue driving activities in the Hotel by preparing for and executing revenue strategies agreed by Hotel management team. The incumbent will be exposed to Analysis, e-Commerce, Revenue Management and Distribution in the role and will be expected to:
·Ensure competitive research and market intelligence obtained for strategic pricing decision through monitoring of scheduled rate shopping, competitor reports, and review of other market intelligence
·Prepare analysis and reports to support hotel’s revenue driving activities
·Manage and conduct regular audits on rate and availability of OTAs to ensure channel manager is properly setup and interfaced correctly with hotel systems
·Assist with managing rate loading process for corporate, wholesale and public rate plans and ensure accurate distribution of rates and details across applicable channels
·Assist in recommending and driving key market and pricing strategies by identifying opportunities for incremental revenue through analyses and tactical actions based on market segments, demand, positioning, etc.
·Prepare weekly revenue meeting information and applicable analysis when required
·Assist with monthly revenue management forecast process
·Participate in preparation of annual budgeting and Sales & Marketing plans
·1-2 years of working experience in revenue management and/or distribution related role
·Diploma or Degree in hospitality/tourism/marketing or related area
·Experience in e-Commerce and Reservations
·Familiar with Singapore market
·Display strong business and financial acumen
·Ability to work both independently and as a team player within the fast pace environment
·Excellent oral and written communication skills
·Proficient with computer software such as Microsoft Excel and Word.
·Strong understanding and experience working with Hotel related systems such as Opera is required.
