ABODE Bistro: Bar is seeking a passionate and experienced Bar Supervisor to join our team
Make yourself at home in Darling Harbour at ABODE Restaurant and Catering Hotel Restaurant of the Year NSW 2016. Including a lounge and decking area as well as a stylish and modern dining room, you will feel a sense of familiarity and comfort at the dining destination for locals and visitors alike.
ABODE is open for lunch and dinner seven days a week and also executes the all day in room dining menu for the adjoining PARKROYAL Darling Harbour hotel. The menu revolves around modern bistro concepts with seasonal, locally grown and sourced produce. Innovative shared plates designed to bring people together and promote conversation. All dishes are flavour driven and presented in modern and interesting ways to visually entice our guests. The ABODE experience offers something for everyone's needs from bar snacks to more formal dining with a "Farmers Market" fresh appeal.
Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, you will have a genuine passion for hospitality and the drive to further develop your career within the industry.
You will have extensive wine and cocktail knowledge with superior customer service skills. You will be self motivated, proactive and creative.
You will be expected to work "hands-on" and be willing to assist with other areas of the Bistro as required including on the floor and training of staff.
Ideally you have around 3 years experience in a quality cocktail bar and be seeking your next big career opportunity.
