POSITION SUMMARY

PARKROYAL Darling Harbour TAA`s Superior Hotel of the year 2016 is seeking an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to join our enthusiastic team. This position will oversee Breakfast, Conferencing/Banquets, Club Lounge and Mini Bar.

Reporting to the Director of Restaurants, Bars and Events, this is a great opportunity to work within a strong team and to develop your career in a supportive, fun and customer focused environment.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Driving the efficiency and profitability through; co-ordination and monitoring of all relevent departments 
  • Leading, developing and mentoring all food and beverage associates and supervisors
  • Overseeing and managing rosters
  • Delivering exceptional customer experience
  • Managing the standards and procedures for each of the department outlets: mini bar, banqueting, restaurant and club lounge.
  • Liaison with a variety of departments on a regular basis including Purchasing, Meetings and Events, Sales and Kitchen to ensure a consistent and superior service is delivered to the client
  • Drive WHS within the F&B department
  • 7 day rotating roster predominantly days but will include public holidays and weekend shifts

TALENT PROFILE

  • A natural passion for customer service and driven to deliver an exceptional experience to your guests
  • 5 years experience within a medium sized 4-5 star hotel or equivalent
  • Strong understanding of HACCP compliance
  • Buffet and high volume banqueting experience
  • Strong communication and excellent organisational skills.
  • Superior attention to detail and presentation skills.
  • Experience to leading, managing and developing large teams to exceed expectation
  • Solid food and wine knowledge, and coffee skills.
  • Bubbly, confident outgoing nature with ability to remain calm under pressure
