The Assistant Restaurant / Banquet Manager will be responsible for assisting the Restaurant / Banquet Manager to ensure the overall co-ordination, supervision and direction of all Restaurant / Banquet Service Associates. The incumbent has to maintain a consistently high standard of customer service within the department and to ensure all guest expectations are exceeded.
The incumbent has to creatively drive and promote new ideas and concepts for guest service according to guest needs and demonstrate an ability to effectively communicate with the team and appropriate departments to constantly maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the Restaurant / Banquet space in accordance with the hotel’s standards.
- A positive and pleasant individual with working knowledge of the Micros/ ResPAK System and Microsoft Office applications.
- Possess organisation skills, creative flair, and skill at working with people and ability to think out of the box.
- Possess at least 2 years of working experience in restaurant management, preferably in a 5-Star hotel.
- Minimum Diploma in Hotel Management or equivalent from an accredited institution.
