POSITION SUMMARY

Set in an invigorating multi-spaced interior, with a dining area seating 150 people and a spacious bar, you can make yourself at home at ABODE.

The menu revolves around modern bistro concepts with seasonal, locally grown and sourced produce. Innovative shared plates designed to bring people together and promote conversation are a feature.

All dishes are flavour driven and presented in modern and interesting ways to visually entice our guests. The ABODE experience offers something for everyone's needs from bar snacks to more formal dining with a "Farmers Market" fresh appeal.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Implement creative, modern food concepts that will delight our guests

  • Mentor the kitchen team to strive for excellence

  • Ensure HACCP requirements are adhered to

  • Maintain a high level of communication between kitchen and floor staff

  • Champion pro-active OHS within the kitchen

  • Engage with our guests to create a memorable experience


TALENT PROFILE

  • A passion for fresh produce and delivering a great experience to your guests

  • Accredited trade qualifications and recent relevant experience in a modern bistro environment

  • A strong knowledge of HACCP compliance

  • Strong leadership experience

  • Al La Carte, and high end banqueting experience
