Rugged and ancient, the Grampians, as they are commonly known, are a rugged sandstone mountain range covered in lush forest growth playing host to an amazingly rich wildlife. It’s the perfect location if you are interested in mountain climbing, bushwalks and nature study. Walking tracks throughout the park provide access to cascading waterfalls, dazzling wildflower displays, Aboriginal rock art sites and panoramic views. Make sure to visit Brambuk, the National Park and Cultural Centre, and experience the Gariwerd dreaming theatre, explore interpretive displays or relax in the bush tucker café. The wonderfully well informed Rangers will escort you on guided bush tucker walk or rock art tours. Located south of Halls Gap township, the centre is open daily from 9am - 5pm except on Christmas Day. 250 kms from the hotel, it is approximately a 3hour drive.
