BOGYOKE AUNG SAN MUSEUM
As a household name to those who remember Myanmar in the early days, General Aung San was a leading figure during Burma’s struggle for independence during his life, earning him the title as “Father of Modern Burma”. His vocal stance on freedom led to an early death by an assassin’s bullet in 1947 at the age of 32.
Today, the house in Yangon where General Aung San lived is now a museum dedicated to his memory.
