ArtScience Museum Architecture

Close to the stunning Gardens by the Bay, the ArtScience Museum is one of the most iconic buildings in the Marina Bay area. Reminiscent of a lotus flower, it has a round base at its centre which features ten finger-like extensions. Each finger has a skylight at its tip to funnel natural light down the curved walls and into the gallery spaces below. The architecture itself is a beautiful sight to behold and a definite must for anyone visiting Singapore.

Sustainability also plays a big part in the design of the ArtScience Museum. The restrooms, for example, are serviced by recycled rainwater, which is channelled down the building’s centre. It’s just one of the many great (and very practical.
