Labelled 'Hotel of the Future' by Forbes Magazine, PARKROYAL on Pickering pioneers a unique 'hotel-in-a-garden' design concept with more than 15,000 square metres of lush gardens, waterfalls, planter walls and a diverse variety of over 10 flora species. The visually-arresting facade was inspired by the rice-paddy fields of Bali - reminiscent of a modern-day interpretation of the hanging gardens of Babylon.

The much lauded hotel was featured in the Hollywood blockbuster movie 'Hitman, Agent 47' and has bagged numerous accolades such as the President's Design Award, INSIDE Awards, 2013 at the World Architecture Festival and is in the running for the prestigious Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) Award for International Excellence.

Since its inception in 2012, Gardens By The Bay has garnered heaps of accolades, one of which was ‘World Building of the Year’ at the 2012 World Architecture Festival. The Supertree Grove in particular, which is in essence made up of gigantic vertical gardens with alien-like canopies, is a marvel to look at and makes you feel as if you've walked right into the world of 'Avatar'. Not to mention the many urban greenhouses and conservatories that will certainly satisfy nature buffs.

Standing at 36m above ground, it is Singapore’s highest pedestrian bridge.
